The Rotaract Club of Hindustan University, in association with the Rotary Club of Chennai Capital, organized a Polio Immunization Drive on 28 June 2026 at the Semmancheri Public Health Centre, Chennai. The programme aimed to support the National Polio Eradication Initiative by ensuring timely immunization of children below five years of age. Rotaractors actively assisted the healthcare professionals in administering oral polio vaccine (OPV) drops and managing beneficiaries at the vaccination centre. Volunteers also created awareness among parents regarding the importance of routine immunization and the need for complete vaccination coverage. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Rotaract members, medical staff, parents, and children. The collaborative effort ensured the smooth conduct of the immunization drive and reinforced the commitment towards safeguarding children's health.
